Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 1-2 years preferred License: Must have KY license or compact license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience of up to 7:1 - Charting system experience preferred Description: Registered Nurse needed for Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The position requires caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The patient ratio for Med/Surg is 7:1 and for Telemetry is 5:1. Every other weekend shift is required. Candidates must have experience in accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, and central line blood draws. Skills in telemetry monitoring and management of dysrhythmias are essential. The RN will be responsible for patient care including wound care, feeding tube management, and respiratory support. A collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support teams is available. This role offers the opportunity for a blocked schedule.
