Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required in the specialty. License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred. - Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients. - Charting system experience required. - Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Ability to manage peripheral lines and administer oxygen. - Knowledge of non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions. Description: Please do not submit to this job unless requested. Modified time is included. COVID-19 vaccine is required. Medical and religious exemptions are allowed. Flu vaccine is required. Medical and religious exemptions are allowed. Low submittals are required. Team nursing ratio is 8:1 with the support of an LPN. Scheduling guidelines indicate that all requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Any time off requested after the offer will not be approved. Travelers must coordinate with peers for coverage. First-time travelers may be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on their experience. There is a local radius requirement of 50 miles. Local rules are accepted at lower bill rates. Travel pairs may be considered for submission. EMR training will be provided. Previous permanent employees cannot be submitted for traveler positions. Return travelers are eligible to return if in good standing.
