Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum experience required, community hospital experience required, previous charge experience preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI preferred Must-Have: Community hospital experience Telemetry monitoring experience Charge nurse experience preferred Description: The position involves providing patient care for medically stable patients in a telemetry unit. Qualified candidates will deliver care to patients with cardiovascular issues, chest pain, heart failure, and other related conditions. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse will manage and interpret telemetry readings and respond to emergencies as needed. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and patient management. Skills in critical care scenarios, such as managing cardiac drips and emergency response, are essential. The role requires effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and families. Regular participation in professional development and adherence to safety guidelines is expected.
