The shift duration is 12 hours, specifically at night. The role requires 1 year of experience in a medical specialty or telemetry unit. Registered Nurses must possess current BLS and NIHSS certifications. Telemetry skills and the ability to titrate cardiac drips are essential. The nurse will care for post-cath patients. The staffing ratio is 1 nurse to 5 patients. Weekend shifts are required, with a total of 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling period. Candidates should be prepared to float between units and departments as necessary. There are opportunities for holiday shifts and charge nurse assignments as needed.
