Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to respond to clinical situations effectively.

Shift Details

This position involves working night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing.
• Current and valid Ohio RN license or compact state license.
• Advanced certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required.
