The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The position may require working during holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. The role involves managing various types of drips, including heparin, cardizem, nitroglycerin, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of telemetry and medical-surgical nursing principles.
