Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry | 30-Bed Acuity-Adaptable Unit

• Ratios: 1:5–1:6, depending on patient care needs.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele RN experience.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
• Recent Skills: Epic and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months required. Recent Epic use must be listed on the resume.
• Floating: Required.
• Education: Nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
• Scrubs: Solid black.

Charge Responsibilities: Charge experience highly preferred. Candidates without it must be willing to train. Charge nurses carry a patient assignment and coordinate admissions, staffing assignments, breaks, Pyxis/crash cart checks, and communication with the supervisor.

Scheduling & Submission:

• Block schedules considered case by case—state interest in submission comments.
• RTO must be submitted upfront: 7 days maximum; none during the first two weeks. More than 7 days results in automatic rejection.
• Interview required; include candidate availability dates/times.
• Driver’s license/state ID and Summa RN Submission Packet required.
