Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,255 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night/Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience starting IVs required Telemetry experience required Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting Description: Available shifts include day and night, 12-hour shifts. Rotation includes every other weekend and holidays as needed. Staff will provide care for adult med/surg patients with various conditions under family medicine service. Work with a geriatric population. Experience with Client patients preferred. Flexibility to float as needed within the unit. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more. Patient ratios and responsibilities may vary. Daily census typically around 20 patients. Unit equipped with double doors for secured patient management. Clinical skills needed include but are not limited to vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and care for various medical devices. Additional skills in telemetry monitoring and isolation precautions are required.
