Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience required Charge experience required Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience strongly required Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Drip experience is required Experience with insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips Charge nurse experience is required Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within the scope of practice Description: This is an adaptive acuity unit. On occasion, travelers will be asked to provide PCU care with a 3:1 ratio. This care is non-negotiable and may not be refused. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer. Traveler must have their own vehicle for this position. Permanent address must be included in the profile. All requested time off must be included in the profile. Travelers without voicemails set up when contacted will be redirected. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. The unit has 25 beds. Charge experience is a requirement for this need. ICU experience is preferred.
