Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Progressive Care Unit – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour orientation period; Every-other-weekend rotation required (3-4 weekend shifts per month); Floating to other units within the facility is required

Highlights:

• Join a brand-new 12-bed acute care unit (11 North) with state-of-the-art facilities
• Patient ratios: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) 1:3, Medical-Surgical 1:4
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a dynamic acute care environment
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, social services, and more
• Multiple parking options available with monthly and annual permit choices

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Minimum 1 year of registered nurse experience
• Required clinical skills: IV therapy, peripheral and PICC line management, chest tube management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, substance withdrawal care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
