The role involves working night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates should have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty. A valid Ohio nursing license or compact license must be obtained before starting. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Travelers will undergo assessments for ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation. Successful scores on both assessments are mandatory for contract continuation. Candidates must be nicotine-free, except for nurses and CSTs, who are currently exempt from nicotine requirements. A background check is required and will be conducted before starting. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required break period before returning.
