Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Deliver direct and compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
- Ensure patient safety and promote a healing environment during overnight shifts
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license (New Hampshire or compact state)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years' recent MedSurg/Tele experience
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical best practices
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
