This role is focused on neuro medical-surgical care during day shifts. The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients with neurological conditions. The patient care ratio on this unit is 1:6. Nurses must be able to float to other units as needed, excluding specific intensive care areas. Candidates should be comfortable working every other weekend. BCLS and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. Experience in telemetry is highly desired. The role requires effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team.
