Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; schedule reviewed every 4-week period based on department needs; ratio 1:4; float requirements within units of equivalent or lower acuity

Highlights:

• Medical/surgical oncology unit specializing in chemotherapy administration with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Patient population includes breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, plus sickle cell crises
• 36-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and social services
• Epic EMR system required; GE telemetry system, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds
• Strong focus on infection prevention protocols and fall prevention measures
• 72-hour orientation provided; oncology experience preferred but not required

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience in relevant specialty
• Current and consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Skills required: dysrhythmia interpretation and management, accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line and PICC line management, IV starts, chest tube assistance, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
