Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, creating a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. Clinical decision-making incorporates the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity. The RN coordinates and provides direct patient care activities, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications:

• ADN or ASN degree.
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS certification.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree.
• Previous nursing experience.
