Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a temporary basis. The position involves working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role requires a strong background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals in need of medical-surgical and telemetry services.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and comprehensively.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Qualifications

• MUST have a minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• MUST possess a valid Ohio RN license or Compact State License.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHHS certification is preferred.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission. Charge RN references are accepted.

Schedule

This position is for night shifts, requiring three 12-hour shifts each week. Block scheduling is not available.

Additional Information

This is a temporary position, with coverage needed for 18 weeks. A minimum contract of 13 weeks will also be considered at this time.
