Schedule: 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation availability; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on staffing needs; 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Diverse case mix including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, plus sickle cell crises management
Epic EMR system with GE telemetry monitoring, Alaris pumps, and modern equipment
Strong interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and social services
72-hour comprehensive orientation program with focus on infection prevention and patient safety protocols
Oncology experience preferred but not required; robust training and support provided
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience (current and within the last 12 months)
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of application)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Epic charting system experience required
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
2 professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
Clinical Skills:
Interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
Accessing and managing ports, PICC lines, and central lines
IV insertion and maintenance
Blood product administration and chemotherapy administration
Arterial line management
High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) management
Chest tube insertion/removal assistance
Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
BiPAP/CPAP and tracheostomy care
PCA and insulin drip titration
Patient Care Focus:
Continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration
Soft tissue malignancy management including diagnostic services and symptom control
Management of comorbidities and disease progression symptoms
Strong emphasis on infection prevention protocols and fall prevention
