Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of acute care experience required License: Current registered nurse license (compact or state-specific) Certifications: AHA BLS, CPR required Must-Have: - Experience with stroke, COVID, and medical-surgical patients - Proficiency in charting systems, specifically Epic - Ability to float to various units as needed - Comfort with flexible staffing ratios Description: Position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. The assignment involves working night shifts with a rotation of various days of the week. Candidates must possess 2 years of acute care experience. First-timers with the required experience are welcome to apply. Weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night. Candidates must be able to adapt to changes in staffing ratios based on unit demand. The specialty of care provides treatment for patients with stroke, COVID-19, and other medical-surgical conditions. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy and social services. The candidate should exhibit strong skills in management and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
