Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,308 per week in Pueblo, CO

Candidates should be comfortable with flexible staffing ratios. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night. Floating to all medical-surgical units may be required based on facility needs. Weekend shifts are required as per unit needs, averaging 7 weekend shifts per contract. The unit primarily cares for general medical-surgical patients, neurosurgical patients, and orthopedic cases. Candidates should have experience with telemetry monitoring and various surgical procedures. Familiarity with isolation precautions and rapid response protocols is necessary. Support services in the unit include physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and social services. Daily census averages around 30 patients, and the unit consists of 28 staffed beds. All candidates must be proactive in communicating and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
