Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,311 per week in Columbia, SC

The position involves working night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Weekend work is required every other weekend. On-call duties are rare and limited to the first 4 hours. Travelers may need to float within the scope to meet facility needs. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in MS/Telemetry. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory, with NIHSS as a preferred certification. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. Block schedule requests will require management approval based on unit needs. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All required time off must be included at the time of submission. The facility has a total of 304 staffed beds. Interdisciplinary support includes various specialized services. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
