Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,316 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting Description: Evening/Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend and holiday rotations will be based on operational need. Must have experience in acute care within the last three years. Telemetry experience is essential. BLS certification from AHA is required. The traveler must demonstrate proficiency in various skills, including: - Accessing and managing ports - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood product administration - Care for colostomy/ileostomy - Pre/Post hemodialysis management - Telemetry monitoring - Wound care and wound vac management Travelers may be required to float as necessary. Travelers must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria. Candidates will have two attempts to pass the required exam. Failure to pass will require proof of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course for a third attempt. If not passed after three attempts, the assignment may be canceled.
