Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical unit. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x12-Hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
• Patient Ratio: 1:12 (utilizing a team nursing model, effectively reducing the caseload to 1:6/7 through collaboration with LPNs and Med Nurses)
• Weekend Requirements: As needed
• On-Call Availability: As needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting is required.
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma environment is mandatory.
• Healthcare experience in a large hospital setting is essential.
• Travel nursing experience is required.
• First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 5+ years of experience in the specialty.

Special Requirements

• Candidates must be in compliance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines, with no pending licenses accepted.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; late RTO submissions will not be considered.
• Local candidates are not accepted; a strict 100-mile radius rule applies.
• Block scheduling is not accommodated, but weekend blocks may be discussed during the interview.
