Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,337 per week in Seattle, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years nursing experience required License: Active state RN license required Certifications: BCLS required, CPI preferred Must-Have: - Experience with patient ratios of 1:3-5 - Proficiency in Epic charting system Description: Position available in the Acute Care Float Pool. Role involves providing care in medical, surgical, and telemetry settings. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. Weekend shifts required, approximately every other weekend. Floating within the facility is expected. No floating to sister hospitals. Candidates should be flexible to meet unit needs. No on-call requirements. This unit deals with a variety of patient conditions including ortho, neurosurgery, and oncology. The facility adheres to stringent infection control and isolation precautions. Interdisciplinary support is available including teams for IVs, respiratory care, social services, and pharmacy. Skills required include management of cardiac telemetry, critical care protocols, and wound care. Candidates will need to administer blood products and manage IV protocols. Additional skills in non-invasive airway management and telemonitoring are essential. The unit accommodates adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with a daily census of 80 patients. Successful candidates will have experience with telemetry and various nursing protocols related to critical care. References are required for submission.
