Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required; IV start and Telemetry required Must-Have: - Ability to float to all medical units, renal, oncology, and neuro - Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6 for days and weekends, 1:6 for nights - Flexible with weekend shifts and holiday rotation obligations - Familiarity with central line care, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and telemetry monitoring Description: The role requires a registered nurse with experience in medical-surgical and telemetry care. Candidates will float between various medical units, including surgical, oncology, and neuro. Expected patient ratios are 1:5-6 on days and weekends, and 1:6 on nights. Every other weekend or a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week schedule is mandatory. Successful nurses will have skills in IV management, wound care, and telemetry monitoring. Candidates must possess or be able to acquire required certifications before starting. The role involves adherence to policies for RTO, with a maximum of 7 days allowed per 13-week contract. Travelers will be required to float within the service line as needed. Please ensure that all compliance requirements are finalized before the start of the contract.
