Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,342 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: Pending License accepted Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required; IV start and Telemetry required Must-Have: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; plus holiday rotation obligation Description: The Registered Nurse will float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units. Ratios are 1:5-6 for days and weekends, and 1:6 for nights. First-timers are accepted for this position. The clinician will float within their scope to meet facility needs. The worker will be pre-assigned to a particular unit if communicated. Workers remaining in the float pool are required to call in for their unit assignment up to 1 hour before their scheduled shift start time. The position requires 3 shifts per week guaranteed; cancellations must be for the regular shift length assigned. The nurse will use lift devices; training will be provided. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. All travelers must float within the service line. RTO is restricted to a maximum of 7 days per contract. No RTO is allowed the first week of an assignment. Certifications are required to be obtained within specified timelines.
