Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour / Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for and 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience License: Must have a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (all must be active with nothing pending) Must-Have: Must work at least every other holiday; one reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required Description: Registered Nurse position focused on Med/Surg Tele. Nurses may float to other units to care for the same patient population. Shifts are rotating between evenings and days. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. Candidates must possess at least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments. Recent Med/Surg Tele experience can substitute for travel experience. Candidates must work every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completion are required during orientation with acceptable scores needed to pass. Travelers are limited to one job submission at a time. References must be from supervisory roles; non-supervisory references are not accepted. Candidates must comply with nicotine-free requirements, and drug screens are required. Background checks are reviewed, and any open cases will not be accepted. Candidates are required to complete necessary modules, with specific billable hours based on specialty. This is a temporary opportunity with various required qualifications and compliance standards.
