Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. License: Active Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments. - Must work at least every other holiday. - Acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation. Description: Caring for patients on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. Potential to float to additional units as needed. 3x12's rotating shifts of Day (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM). Flexibility required for variable shifts due to operational needs. Clinical responsibilities will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and performing assessments. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care is essential. Must have the ability to handle emergency situations effectively. Candidates should be prepared to complete required assessments during orientation. Compliance with health and safety guidelines is paramount. Adherence to facility policies is expected throughout the duration of the assignment.
