Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.
Travel Med-Surg/Tele RN | UW Health East Madison Hospital | Madison, WI
Work 12-hour nights, 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m., caring for adult and geriatric med-surg/tele patients. The schedule includes two weekends per six-week period, with holiday rotation based on operational needs. Travelers float as needed. Free onsite parking is available.
Requirements: At least two years of acute care experience in med-surg/tele within the past three years, prior travel experience, Epic experience, a Wisconsin or compact RN license, and AHA BLS. Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
A telemetry exam must be passed before the start date. The adult exam requires an overall score of at least 80%, correct identification of all lethal rhythms, and no errors on third-degree heart block questions. Travelers receive two attempts; a third requires proof of completing a cardiac interpretation review course. The assignment is canceled if the third attempt is unsuccessful.
