Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,386 per week in Omaha, NE

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in a large, urban hospital License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience - Experience with cardiac drips - Ability to float to various units as needed - Recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility Description: 36 or 48-hour options are available. Travelers are first to float. Registered Nurses must be prepared to float frequently to meet staffing needs. Travelers may be assigned to additional campuses as necessary. Certifications required include BLS, with ACLS strongly preferred. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital. Experience with drips is required for all floors. EPIC charting experience is necessary. First-time travelers are not accepted without specific experience. Travelers will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Units may include various medical-surgical and telemetry units. Care teams include care techs and transport teams. Nursing staff includes CNAs and LPNs, as applicable. The facility is 100% nicotine free. Travelers are expected to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday, with a total of 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period. Requests for time off are permitted up to two weeks but must be included with the application. Holiday requirements include working 2 out of 3 major holidays. Locals within a certain distance are not accepted. Pending licenses are accepted, with conditions on booking. Travelers must adhere to dress code requirements for scrubs. A parking permit is necessary for vehicle access.
