Seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Camden, New Jersey. Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
• Recent experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma setting required
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to float to like units as needed
• Must be available to work assigned holidays; no holiday time off is allowed during this assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Tele environment
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
• Float to similar units based on patient care needs and staffing priorities
• Deliver compassionate, efficient care in a high-volume acute care setting
