Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and demonstrate IV insertion and IV therapy experience
• Completion of a Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia exam
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive bedside nursing care for telemetry and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes and clinical updates
• Administer medications safely and accurately according to nursing standards
• Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and related clinical procedures as needed
• Care for post-operative, orthopedic, and medically complex patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Provide clear patient and family education to support positive outcomes and discharge readiness
• Document care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond effectively in urgent and emergency situations while maintaining professional standards
