• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; holiday rotation; no self-scheduling
• Floating: Required to float to like units within competency

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required; 2 years preferred for auto-offer consideration
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross); may be obtained before start if needed
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV starts, and basic acute care nursing
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment with changing patient acuity
• Prior travel nurse experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, assess patient status, and communicate changes promptly
• Administer drips, infusions, medications, and respiratory support therapies as ordered
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture, start IVs, and support line maintenance
• Care for patients with trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, pneumonia, COPD, and other pulmonary conditions
• Assist with transports, oxygen weaning, nebulizer-to-inhaler transitions, and ICU transfers as needed
• Float to like units within your competency and contribute to a collaborative healthcare team
