RadHealth+ is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Travel RN – Med Surg Oncology | Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Unit: 19 James Med Surg Oncology
Contract: 16 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights or Rotating Days/Nights

 

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Epic experience required
  • BLS required
  • Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
  • Float to equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed

Patient Population

  • Breast, Lung, Prostate, Pancreatic, Colon, and Esophageal Cancer patients
  • Chemotherapy patients requiring cardiac monitoring
  • Symptom management and oncology treatment support

Required Skills

  • IV Starts
  • Blood Product Administration
  • Central Line & PICC Management
  • Port Access
  • Arterial Line Management
  • Chest Tube Assistance
  • High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
  • ABG Interpretation
  • Telemetry Monitoring

  • Adult Oncology/Telemetry population
  • Strong focus on infection prevention and fall prevention
  • Equipment: GE Telemetry Monitors, Alaris Pumps, Stryker Beds, Bladder Scanners
