Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,418 per week in Chattanooga, TN

**Exciting Opportunity for Med Surg Travel Nurse - 3 West!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Chattanooga, TN - **Schedule:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM - **Unit:** 3 West Cardiac - **Total Beds:** 30 - **Patient Ratio:** 6 : 1 - **Staffing:** - Unit clerk on days - 2-3 PCTs (day & night) - Nursing Supervisor & Hospitalists **Unit Equipment:** - Welch Allyn vitals neuron - Novameter glucose - GE Telemetry and Rover’s **Documentation System:** - Meditech-HCA version **Medications Dispensing:** - WOW for all nurses - PyxisES dispensing system **Scheduling Requirements:** - Equivalent of every other weekend (4 weekend shifts / 4-week schedule) **Floating Policy:** - Other M/S areas: general M/S, Ortho, PCU, M/S surgical w/ oncology - Rotational floating unless skill mix is needed **Patient Experience:** - Bedside Rounding - Hourly Rounding with 5P’s checked - Reports to PCTs of known needs at shift's start and during shifts - Glass board for department focus areas - Scrolling video kiosk & email for updates **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - NIH **Requested Skill Set:** - Cardiac knowledge preferred - Advanced skills needed in Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Chest Tube management - Wound vac management - EKGs ad lib **Dress Code:** - RN: Navy scrubs - CNA/PCT: Ceil blue scrub set and jacket (optional) - Allowed colors for Ts: White, blue, grey, orange, or black (no graphics) - No artificial or gel nails **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Documentation of telemetry application and rhythm strips in chart each shift - NO PASS ZONE for bed alarms, call lights, IV alarms, etc. **Unit Culture:** - Charge Nurses with 12, 16, and 39-year seniority on dayshift and 15+ on nightshift - Shared Governance per unit and facility **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
