Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience; Charge RN experience required; Previous Travel experience (at least 3 months) required License: Vermont RN License or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS; Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Must be willing to float to any unit within scope of practice; Must have own vehicle; Perm address must be included in profile; All requests for time off must be included in profile; Call is required; No block scheduling; Not eligible for local travelers Description: Must not upload a traveler who plans to work alongside another permanent placement or travel assignment. Must not upload a traveler who requests schedule accommodations. May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse. Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Requires willingness to float to any unit within the scope of practice. Average daily patient census and nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4/5. Every effort must be made to provide any requested time off during the assignment upon submission. Requests made after submission will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. This role requires the traveler to have their own vehicle as this is a small community without public transport. Profile must include all necessary documentation and compliance requirements.
