Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,451 per week in Charleston, WV

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Current RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry experience required. Ability to float within scope if needed. Minimum 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a full telemetry environment. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including pulmonary and cardiac conditions. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5. Previous experience with heparin protocols, interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias is essential. The unit utilizes interdisciplinary support and team nursing approaches. Candidates must have experience with monitoring equipment. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Positions may involve floating to similar units as needed. All personnel are required to have a flu vaccine unless a medical exemption is documented. COVID-19 vaccination is not required. Candidates with pending licenses may be considered.
