Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care Medical Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in Medical Surgical Telemetry License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Long-Term Acute Care experience preferred - Neuro experience required - Experience with complex wound care - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Tracheostomy care and management Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Long-Term Acute Care Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry. Previous experience in a long-term acute care setting is preferred. Neuro experience is necessary for this role. The shift will be day-based, working four 12-hour shifts. The schedule may include varied eight-hour shifts starting from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Weekend coverage will involve call rotation among staff members. On-call responsibilities will be required after 5 PM daily and on weekends. Staff will focus on providing care for adult and geriatric patients. Experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically EPIC, is required. Traveling staff must be willing to float to other units as needed. Modules and compliance training are necessary prior to starting the role.
