Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,467 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care Medical-Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical-Surgical Telemetry License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with complex wound care - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Tracheostomy care/management Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse with experience in Long-Term Acute Care Medical-Surgical Telemetry. Must have 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience. Experience in LTAC preferred with a focus on neuro patients. Shifts will generally be 4 days a week, working a total of 36 to 48 hours. Varied 8-hour shifts starting from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Weekends supported by on-call rotation among staff members. Candidates must be qualified to float to other units if necessary. All competencies should be documented prior to floating to different areas. Modules for compliance must be completed prior to start of contract, with reimbursement for time spent. EMR experience with a minimum of 1 year required. A commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential. Regular communications and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members will be required.
