Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

A skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse is needed for a night shift position. The role requires providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit with a focus on monitoring and assessing the condition of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Proficient in the use of Epic electronic health record systems.

Schedule

This position requires commitment to work 12-hour night shifts, specifically from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend included. The role allows for a maximum of three days of requested time off (RTO), with no holiday requests approved during the contract duration.

Contract Length

This is an 8-week contract with an anticipated start date of January 11.
