Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• Patient ratio is 1:5-6 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
• Work alongside Patient Care Techs
• Black or Navy Blue scrubs required
• EMR system: EPIC
• At least 2 years of previous Med Surg experience required
• Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred as traveler will float to the Stepdown unit as needed
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Iowa and Illinois state licenses required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility

This healthcare facility is a well-established medical center offering comprehensive inpatient services including Medical Surgical and Stepdown care. The facility operates across multiple local campuses and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system.
