Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 12 months permanent experience in specialty applying for License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: Must have recent charge experience, ECG rhythm recognition test, and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation Description: Seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. Potential to float to units as needed to care for the same patient population. Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. An acceptable score is required on both ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation. Nurses exempt from nicotine-free requirements. All travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start. Background hits will be reviewed, but travelers with open cases will not be accepted. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return for 1 year from their previous end date. BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Travel candidates who remain on continuous contracts for a minimum of 1 year will be required to complete annual competency requirements. Modules required for annual competency completion may vary by specialty.
