We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join an outpatient radiation department. The RN will provide clinical support and patient-centered care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey, including IV starts, patient education, telephone triage, and wound care.

Key Responsibilities
- Start and maintain IV access as needed.
- Provide patient education related to treatment, medications, and care.
- Triage patient calls and assess clinical concerns appropriately.
- Provide wound care and monitor patient needs.
- Support oncology patients receiving outpatient radiation treatment.
- Communicate and coordinate with physicians and the multidisciplinary oncology team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Epic.
- Monitor patients and escalate concerns appropriately.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Med-Surg Oncology experience required.
- Active California RN License required at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
- BLS required.
- ONC certification preferred.
- Epic experience required.
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Oncology RN with strong clinical assessment, patient education.
