The RN prevents illness and injury and alleviates suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response. The RN advocates for the care of individuals and families. The RN assesses, plans, delegates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing care. The RN manages a group of patients, serving as the primary nurse when designated.
