Job Title: LTAC MS/Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year Preferred, Will Consider 1 Year on a Case-by-Case Basis License: Pending License Accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to Pass Arrhythmia and Medication Test on the First Day Attendance Policy Compliance Required Description: The position involves working in a Long-Term Acute Care setting. Nurses are expected to care for patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring mechanical ventilation. Patient ratios are 1:6. Nurses will manage a variety of patient diagnoses such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and heart failure. Floating to various units depending on staffing needs may be required. Accommodating block scheduling is not available. All requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Attendance is strictly monitored; additional missed shifts may lead to contract review. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. Nurses will receive support from interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and social services. Compliance documents are required prior to the start date. Testing for cardiac dysrhythmia and moderate sedation will occur on the first day of orientation.
