Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,519 per week in Cleveland, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 20 weeks (Winter Coverage) Shift: Night & Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience. Travel experience will suffice. Must work at least every other holiday. Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a satisfactory score. Description: This position is for a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. The nurse will provide care to patients in a med/surg telemetry unit. There is potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. The schedule consists of rotating shifts between night and day. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs. Recent experience in the specialty applying for is essential. Active certifications are required at the time of submission. References must be from a manager in the specialty and from assignments worked in the last 12 months. All travelers are subject to background checks, and any open cases will not be accepted. Compliance with nicotine requirements is necessary, with exemptions for certain healthcare roles. Additional requirements include timely completion of background checks and fingerprints. Travelers may remain in the position for up to 18 months with a break required before returning. Modules related to the position are mandatory and will vary by specialty. Annual modules may incur additional billable hours if contracted for a full year.
