Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,519 per week in Cleveland, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks (with potential for 13-week contracts) Shift: Night and Day (Rotating) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required. 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required; travel experience acceptable. License: Permanent Ohio License or Compact License required. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate required during orientation. Description: The role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The nurse will care for patients in a telemetry setting, with the potential to float to similar patient populations. Positions entail working rotating shifts between night and day with variable schedules as needed. Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months of combined experience in the specialty applying for, preferably within one location. Active certifications must be in hand at the time of application submission. A reference from a manager or supervisor within the past 12 months is required for submission. Candidates will undergo background checks; any open cases will result in disqualification. Nurses must also comply with nicotine-free requirements unless exempt. A maximum of 2 attempts to pass ECG rhythm recognition tests and safeMedicate will be allowed during orientation. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months before requiring a break. Extensions are subject to client approval. Annual modules are required and time needed may vary by specialty. Modules will be recorded and adhere to facility requirements.
