Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,527 per week in Castro Valley, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Float Pool Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios of 5 - Experience with Epic charting system - Required trauma level II experience - Travel experience Description: MS/Tele Float Pool Traveler needed. Will float to multiple nursing units within the scope of practice. Every other weekend and holiday coverage required. Daily patient care responsibilities in MS/Tele specialty. Must provide care to adults and geriatric patients. Experience with management of dysrhythmias required. Experience with blood product administration necessary. Ability to perform central line care and management is essential. Must be skilled in telemetry and remote monitoring. Experience with the use of BiPAP/CPAP management needed. Additional skills include IV insulin protocols and phlebotomy. Wound care and management of surgical drains are required. Must have experience in pre/post hemodialysis management. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaboration with interdisciplinary support. Work history verification is required for all candidates. Candidates must provide accurate work history information going back seven years.
