Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,527 per week in Castro Valley, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid State RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience, charting system experience, ability to float to multiple units Description: MS TELE Float Pool Traveler needed. Will float to multiple MS/Tele and MS units within scope of practice. Certifications required include ACLS and BLS. Shifts are 3x12 Nights, every other weekend coverage required. Guaranteed hours are not specified. Patient ratios on Days, Nights, and Weekends are 5 patients per nurse. Experience with MS/Tele patient management is essential. Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care. Additional skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, and telemetry management. Candidates should have experience with high flow nasal cannula and PCA management. Wound care and tracheostomy care skills are also necessary. This position may require weekend coverage and holiday shifts. All compliance documents must be submitted by the deadline.
