Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,527 per week in Castro Valley, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Charge experience - Charting system experience Description: MS Tele Float Pool Traveler needed. Will float to multiple MS/Tele and MS units within scope of practice. Required certifications include CA RN License, ACLS, and BLS. Shift schedule is 3x12 nights, with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Key skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management. Blood product administration. Central line care and management. Chest tubes management. CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) care. Feeding tube care and management. High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) usage. Interpretation of dysrhythmias. Isolation precautions and PPE. Management of dysrhythmias. Starting and maintaining IVs. Telemetry remote monitoring. Tracheostomy care and management. Wound care and wound vac management. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The unit will support an interdisciplinary setup including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidate must be flexible to float, with a maximum of 7 days request for time off allowed during the contract. Holiday time off requests are limited to one holiday per contract.
