**Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Sierra Med/Tele!** **Job Description:** - **Role:** Registered Nurse - Sierra Med/Tele - **Location:** Reno, NV - **Shift:** 3x12, Days - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Call Requirements:** None **Key Qualifications:** - **Licenses:** NV RN license required prior to start - **Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips - **Experience Required:** - 2+ years in Med Surg/Tele - Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required **Additional Details:** - Travelers may be required to float to meet organizational needs, up to their competency level. - You will pick up one additional shift per scheduled period. - Renown reserves the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours in advance for low census per 13-week contract; this may include full or partial shifts. - Schedule varies based on departmental needs and may include weekends and holidays. **Purpose of the Role:** - Deliver optimal patient care using your knowledge and skills while executing the nursing process. - Accountable for individual patient outcomes throughout the entire episode of care. - Provide comprehensive nursing services to patients of all ages along with their families/caregivers. **Nature and Scope:** - Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems effectively. - Ensure optimal patient/resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Meet standards of quality by adhering to age-specific competency standards. - Involve families in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation processes when applicable. - Coordinate care among other professionals as needed. - Exercise judgment and make decisions to provide safe and optimal patient care. --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
